Her soothing voice lulls one into the most blissful state of relaxation. The length of the CD is perfect for my busy schedule. The state of peace and calm that is attained through listening to this recording is well worth the investment! Excellent Resource to Help Relax This CD has become a great resource for me when I need to step back from everything and relax. Between the voice, the development of imagery, to the soothing music, this CD is perfect for me. Like most people, I can't take an endless amount of time out of my day. But it is easy to step away from a busy workday for just a few minutes to regroup, listening to this on my iPod. I can then face everything life has to throw at me, more centered and more effective. Calmed Me at the Dentist I recently went to my dentist's office to have a root canal procedure. I was very nervous and they gave me the option of plain music or a guided relaxation CD.I picked the guided relaxation since music alone never helped much with other procedures. The soft voice and images were so soothing that I was able to relax while the procedure flew by. I asked the Dr. where to get it and now I have my own copy to calm me whenever I need it. What a lifesaver!I'm getting her other CD next! soooooo calming Deep Relaxation I disagree with the reviewer who said this cd was too short--I'm always fast asleep long before the cd is over. Sandy has the most calming, relaxing voice I've ever heard....and this cd really helps me relax fast and fall to sleep quickly....who has time to waste! This works for me and works quickly. Thanks Sandy! Deep Relaxation I use Deep Relaxation with my private practice for clients who have difficulty quieting a "busy mind". Sandy's voice, the music, and the words blend together to offer a profoundly relaxing experience even for someone who has great difficulty "turning off" the world around. I have had particular success with the CD with clients who are diagnosed as ADHD or Traumatic Brain Injury. Just living in the body of someone with ADHD can be energy-exhausting.
